THE PERFECT GETAWAY


Just relax with a cold beverage on your shady terrace with a good book from my library, swim in the huge pool, sunbathe, or relax inside with one of our enormous selection of DVDs to play on your Smart TV . Wi-fi is on-site if you need to keep in touch. The villa is in the countryside with gardens of palm, olive, quince, pomegranate, orange and lemon trees, while still being within two minutes from the main road.

FOOD


The Mediterranean diet is renowned throughout the World. The jamon, olive oil, goat and manchego cheeses of this area are amazing. Meat and seafood are the main constituents in the fantastic national dish of paella. Taste it and you will not be disappointed. I can provide a first night gourmet meal so you can relax and unwind. Vegetarian or allergenic menus available. There is a fantastic barbecue onsite for your use, as well as a superbly appointed kitchen in your accommodation.

LOCAL ATTRACTIONS


I live on site in another villa so am available for any queries you may have. Local knowledge can be invaluable on holiday, when you don’t know the best places to eat. I have lots of information in books and brochures for guests to borrow. I also know a lot about the surrounding area and am more than happy to help with your itinerary to find interesting places to visit. I am here to help and there is a bell outside my door which you can ring for attention. I will always respect your privacy and will not intrude on that.

SEVILLE


Capital of Anadlucia region famous for flamenco dancing and a majority of landmarks like the Alcázar palace built during the Moorish Almohad dynasty or the Plaza de Toros de la Maestranza building renowned for bullfighting. A further landmark is the beautiful Cathedral which houses the tomb of Christopher Columbus. If you like to cycle Seville is the perfect city for it with its connected segregated bike lanes.

CORDOBA


Cordoba was an important Roman city and a major Islamic centre during the Middle Ages. It is well know for the Mezquita which is a mosque that dates from 789 A.D. A must see site to appreciate the beauty and integrity of Islamic architecture. In 1236 A.D. it became a Catholic church and now has different areas for praying and worship for the locals. During May Cordoba also hosts open garden shows for those who love to soak in the beauty of the local flora.

GRANADA


Found in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains, Granada is well known for its variety of medieval architecture dating back to the Moorish occupation. The Alhambra (shown in picture) is one of these beautiful buildings that stood the test of time. This hilltop fortress is home to serene patios, reflecting pools from the Nasrid dynasty as well as fountains and orchards of the Generalife gardens.

CÁDIZ


Cádiz is an ancient port city that is almost entirely surrounded by water and was home to the Spanish Navy. The city boomed in the 16th century for exploration and trade and boasts over 100 watchtowers including the iconic Torre Tavira as well as the 18th century Cádiz Cathedral on the waterfront. In addition to its rich history Cádiz boasts many beaches such as Playa La Caleta being the most photographed beach in Cádiz, as well as Santa Maria del Mar and many more for those seeking water activities.
